We originally decided to use a cover by local artist Stingy Eyes (John Campbell) of the song 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' as the main song of our project. We were planning to have this playing in the background of the video until the moment one of our characters Jay removes his earphones to which the music would stop abruptly. We paid for the cover but felt the pace and tempo was too sombre for a romantic comedy and asked John to cover the song again. In the end we decided to not use the cover or song and instead are using the royalty free track 'energy'.
This is not the only change to the project that we made: the audio of our outside scenes were of poor quality and the scenes were unusable. This meant we had to erase the second half of our project and its outdoor scenes and instead ask our actors to record voice overs of a new script. We placed the voice overs in the first scenes and lengthened these scenes out.
