The selection of our locations determined our colour scheme for us. City Hall is location in a public setting with a garden surrounding the building. In good weather the blue skies and green grass attract shoppers in the area as a place of relaxation. The blue and green colour scheme mirrors the pale relaxed colours of the original film as graceful and sophisticated.
The colour scheme reflects the colours used in the 2002 film The Importance of Being Earnest which uses pale blues and purples to reflect the elegance of the time period. We tried to mirror this is our colour scheme while also making sure the colours applied to our location, so we settled on a green/blue colour scheme with a range of shades. We plan on having our actors dressed in colours that compliment the colour scheme. One actor will wear shades of blue and the other will wear tones of greens
